    Working Principle

    Kemai KX series powder separator (air classifier) rotates with blades on the turntable through a speed regulating motor and a two-stage deceleration to form a grading effect on the powder. The speed of the blade speed is adjusted according to the size of the finished powder. When it is necessary to obtain finer granularity powder, it is necessary to increase the blade speed, so that the contact between the blade and the powder increases, so that the unqualified powder is thrown to the outer wall of the blade and the air flow, the coarse powder falls into the grinding chamber for re-grinding due to the effect of gravity, and the qualified finished powder is sucked into the blade with the air flow into the large cyclone collector, the air flow and the powder are separated, and the powder is collected.
    Characteristic and feature of KM series air classifier
    • (1) A static classification and dispersion equipment, no moving parts, reliable and stable work, conducive to the smooth operation of the roller press, improve the system output;
    • (2) Simple structure, long service life of wear-resistant parts;
    • (3) The use of small air volume, small pressure loss;
    • (4) The fineness of the finished product can be controlled by adjusting the wind speed, which is convenient and reliable.

    Frequently Asked Questions

    How does the KM series air classifier control the fineness of the finished product?
    The fineness of the finished product can be easily adjusted and controlled by changing the wind speed of the air flow and adjusting the rotation speed of the classifier blades.
    What are the main advantages of using a static classification design?
    As a static classification and dispersion equipment, it has no moving parts. This ensures highly reliable and stable operation, which directly benefits the smooth operation of the roller press and increases overall system output.
    What happens to unqualified coarse powder during the air classification process?
    Unqualified coarse powder is thrown to the outer wall of the blades and, due to gravity, falls back into the grinding chamber to undergo the re-grinding process.
    What is the handling capacity range of the KM series air classifier?
    Depending on the model, the handling capacity ranges from 16-20 T/h (for the KM-500 model) up to 120-160 T/h (for the larger KM-1200 model).
    Does the KM series air classifier require high air volume and pressure?
    No, one of the key characteristics of the KM series classifier is its efficient design that utilizes small air volume and maintains a small pressure loss during operation.
