Efficient KM Series Air Classifier from China Suppliers & Factory – Achieve 85% Classification Efficiency
Working Principle
Kemai KX series powder separator (air classifier) rotates with blades on the turntable through a speed regulating motor and a two-stage deceleration to form a grading effect on the powder. The speed of the blade speed is adjusted according to the size of the finished powder. When it is necessary to obtain finer granularity powder, it is necessary to increase the blade speed, so that the contact between the blade and the powder increases, so that the unqualified powder is thrown to the outer wall of the blade and the air flow, the coarse powder falls into the grinding chamber for re-grinding due to the effect of gravity, and the qualified finished powder is sucked into the blade with the air flow into the large cyclone collector, the air flow and the powder are separated, and the powder is collected.
Characteristic and feature of KM series air classifier
- A static classification and dispersion equipment, no moving parts, reliable and stable work, conducive to the smooth operation of the roller press, improve the system output;
- Simple structure, long service life of wear-resistant parts;
- The use of small air volume, small pressure loss;
- The fineness of the finished product can be controlled by adjusting the wind speed, which is convenient and reliable.

Frequently Asked Questions
How does the Kemai KX series powder separator work?
It utilizes a speed-regulating motor and two-stage deceleration to rotate blades on a turntable. This setup creates a grading effect where unqualified coarse powder falls back down due to gravity for re-grinding, while qualified fine powder is drawn into a cyclone collector via airflow.
How is the fineness of the finished powder adjusted in the KM series air classifier?
The fineness is controlled by adjusting the blade speed and the wind speed. To obtain a finer granularity powder, you increase the blade speed to increase the contact between the blades and the powder.
What are the main features of the KM series air classifier?
Key features include a static classification and dispersion design with no moving parts for stable operation, a simple wear-resistant structure, low air volume and pressure loss, and reliable control over finished product fineness.
What is the capacity range of the KM series air classifier?
The handling capacity ranges from 16-20 T/h for the entry-level KM-500 model, up to 120-160 T/h for the high-capacity KM-1200 model.
What are the blower motor specifications for the KM-500 model?
The KM-500 model features a blower motor with 30 Kw of power, a motor speed of 1680 R/min, air pressure of 2494 Pa, and an air capacity of 29668 m³/h.
